Windows-Based Analysis And Test Environment For CAN -FD, LIN And Automotive Ethernet
Posted by
onCanEasy by Schleissheimer (Germany) is a Windows-based analysis and test system for CAN-FD, LIN and Automotive Ethernet. The tool simulates serial bus traffic, it provides a high degree of automation and is easily configured and extended with the support of plug-in modules.
The goal is that users should focus on their task and not on their tools. CanEasy is a valuable software tool that assists during the development process, from testing to commissioning.
It is intended to implement advanced requirements and complex applications by providing an integrated development environment.
One exemplary use is the diagnosis of control units. With the help of CanEasy, users can import CDD and ODX files and start using diagnostic services immediately.
The Richpanel editor enables users to design graphical panels that reproduce and manage data. Furthermore, the panels can be created “intelligent” by programming complex behavior. The tool has built-in support for several protocols such as Classical CAN, CAN FD, and LIN.
PiCAN FD - CAN Bus FD Duo Board with Real Time Clock for Raspberry Pi
The PiCAN FD Duo board provides two-channel CAN-Bus FD ability for the Raspberry Pi.
It utilizes the Microchip MCP2517FD CAN controller with MCP2562FD CAN transceiver. Connections are made via 4-way screw terminal.
A real-time clock (RTC) with battery back up (battery not included) is also on the board.
The improved CAN FD bitrate increases the length of the data section to up to 64 bytes per frame and a data rate of up to 8 Mbps.
Features
- Microchip MCP2517FD CAN Controller
- Microchip MCP2562FD CAN transceiver
- Arbitration Bit Rate u pto 1Mbps
