Mini PCI-E Module with Classical CAN, CAN FD, and GNSS

Posted by Industry News on

antzer CAN Bus - CAN FD - GNSS

Antzer Tech, a subsidiary of Innodisk, introduced their GADN-FD7L0 PC interface card, which integrates CAN (CAN bus 2.0 a/b, OBDII, SAE J1939), CAN FD, and GNSS features into one mini PCI-E combo module.

The board comes in a standard Mini PCI Express form factor. It supports USB 2.0 and two independent CAN FD ports with data-phase bit rates of 2 Mbit/s, 4 Mbit/s, and 5 Mbit/s. Furthermore, it offers Classical CAN connections using 11-bit CAN-IDs and bit-rates up to 1 Mbit/s with integrated programmable CAN-Identifier filtering and switchable termination resistors. The interface with a maximal power consumption of 0,55 W (3,3 VDC, 167 mA) extends the functionality of embedded systems, robotics, vehicles, etc.

The built-in U-Blox M8 GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) module enables concurrent reception of up to three GNSS sources (e.g., GPS, Galileo, Glonass, Beidou). Furthermore, the module, manufactured by Innodisk in Taiwan, supports the Linux SocketCAN driver and dead reckoning features. The industrial-grade design ensures reliable operation from -40 °C to +85 °C. In addition, Antzer Tech provides complete software materials for customers to verify and integrate the module into their applications.
