Portwell LYNX-612B Industrial PC for IIoT Applications

Portwell launched its Lynx-612B PC, an industrial PC of their Lynx-6000 Industrial IoT (Internet of Things) gateway series based on the Intel Celeron N3350 CPU (formerly Apollo Lake platform).

The device is equipped with a two-core CPU, and it is certified by Microsoft Azure IoT, which provides a scalable infrastructure for data, virtual machines, servers, and front-end applications. A 4-GiB DRAM (optionally up to 8 GiB) and a 32-GiB eMMC 5.0 (up to 256 GiB) memory is onboard. The supported operating systems include Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (64 bit) and Yocto v. 2.7.

Besides a CAN Bus port, the fanless PC comes with two USB 3.0, a display interface, a Mini-PCIe slot, and an 8-channel GPIO. It can work as an IoT gateway in space-limited automation applications by supporting up to four Ethernet ports. The M.2 Key E 2230 interface allows for an expansion with a wireless module.

The IP30-protected 0,53-kg PC can be mount on a DIN-rail or a wall. The required power input ranges from 12 VDC to 30 VDC. The operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to +50 °C. The product series is suited for industrial automation, facility management, transportation, intra-logistics or smart warehouse, testing equipment, electrical charging station management, automated guided vehicle (AGV), IoT data management, and edge computing.

Features

  • Intel® Celeron® Processor
  • M.2 Key E and Mini-PCIe for wireless module
  • Extended I/O interface of 4x GbE LANs, 1x CAN Bus,and 1x 8 Channel GPIO
  • Heavy Industry EMC standard
  • Supports customized appearance (Optional)
  • Supports extended temperature (Optional)
