Posted by Industry News on

Industrial Joystick, 3 axes, CP, soft cross guidance, MicroMatch, remote control

Genge & Thoma AG introduced its series of joysticks for industrial and mobile applications with CANopen and SAE J1939 connectivity. The products address applications, including off-road vehicles and vehicle body applications.

The SK 60 joystick is a versatile product with several options with various haptic characteristics. The product is available in numerous configurations, with up to three axes depending on the handle. In the core of the joystick is a hall-effect sensor. In addition, the IP67-rated joystick comes optionally with a CAN Bus interface supporting the CANopen or SAE J1939 protocol stacks.

The SK197 joystick provides up to three axes based on potentiometer technology. The IP54-rated product also supports CANopen and SAE J1939. Therefore, it is suitable for remote control devices.

The SK212 multi-function joystick will operate under harsh environmental conditions. The IP65-rated product is appropriate for mobile hydraulics, agriculture, construction machines, and off-shore equipment. The joystick uses hall-effect sensors. Additional switches, thumbwheels, etc., can be applied. The product is available with CANopen and J1939 ports.

The Swiss company, established in 1958, exports about 90 percent of its joysticks. It has sales partners in many European countries, the U.S.A, Australia, China, Taiwan, and India. The company is a CiA member since 2017.
