Powerful CAN Bus, SAE J1939 Display For On-Board Data Monitoring

Posted by Industry News on

Technoton MasterCAN Display 35 - CAN J1939 Display

Technoton introduced its MasterCAN Display 35, which is designed to visualize the operating parameters of a vehicle or stationary object. The Display 35 receives and parses data from an SAE J1939/S6 interface and standard vehicle T-CAN bus. Two analog inputs allow the connection to voltage/frequency devices – standard or additional sensors like axle load sensor.

The MasterCAN Display 35 is suitable for advanced machinery, agricultural and construction machines, mining equipment, marine vessels, railroad machinery, mining equipment, power generator sets, and burner sets.

The CAN bus display is installed inside the vehicle cabin and allows the driver/operator to monitor the most crucial machinery operation parameters.

CAN Bus display features:

  • Displaying up to 420 parameters split into 21 screens
  • Automatic parsing of SAE J1939/71 and ISOBUS messages
  • More than 10,000 parameters are supported (see. Configuration)
  • Possibility to display values of proprietary CAN Bus messages
  • Automatics conversion of analog (voltage) signals into digital CAN Bus messages

What can be connected to MasterCAN Display 35?

  • Automotive SAE J1939 bus
  • J1708 (SAE J1587) bus via J1708-J1939 converter
  • 16 fuel level sensors
  • 16 fuel flow meters
  • 2 axle load sensors or other devices with voltage output (dedicated inputs)
  • 42 devices with voltage/frequency/current/digital output (via external converter)
  • other additional equipment employing CAN J1939/71 standard
  • CANUp telematics gateway or any tracking/telematics device with CAN interface

SAE J1939 Starter Kit And Network Simulator

SAE J1939 Starter Kit And Network Simulator

Our J COM.J1939 Starter Kit And Network Simulator is designed to allow the experienced engineer as well as the beginner to experiment with SAE J1939 data communication without the need of connecting to a real-world J1939 network, i.e. a diesel engine. It may sound obvious, but in order to establish a network, you need at least two nodes, and that fact applies especially to CAN/J1939 where the CAN controller will basically shut down after transmitting data without receiving a response. For that reason, our jCOM.J1939 Starter Kit And Network Simulator consists of two J1939 nodes, namely our jCOM.J1939.USB, an SAE J1939 ECU Simulator Board With USB Port.

The jCOM.J1939.USB gateway board is a high-performance, low-latency vehicle network adapter for SAE J1939 applications. The board supports the full SAE J1939 protocol according to J1939/81 Network Management (Address Claiming) and J1939/21 Transport Protocol (TP).
