PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) Interface Supports CAN Bus, CAN FD, FlexRay, 100BASE-TX and 100BASE-T1
Posted by
onThe Flexcard PMC-II by Star Corporation is an interface device for automotive bus systems connecting up to eight Classical CAN or CAN FD networks to a host controller.
The eight ports are configurable regarding the physical layer (Flextiny II) with switchable bus termination resistors included onboard.
All interfaces are synchronized by employing time-stamps with a resolution of one microsecond. The product provides various triggering options. Driver programs for Linux, Windows, and Xenomai are available.
The PCI interface is powered by 3,3 VDC or 5 VDC. The Classical CAN BUs and CAN FD protocol controllers are based on the IP cores from Bosch.
Features
- 8x exchangeable bus interfaces, PMC interface (PCI Mezzanine card)
- Physical Layer available for CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, 100BASE-TX and 100BASE-T1
- Synchronous timestamp generation for all of the 8 bus interfaces (resolution 1 us)
- PMC-Adapter available for: PCI and PCIe
- Driver available for: Windows, Linux and Xenomai
- Numerous triggering options
- Switchable on-board bus termination
