CAN Bus to Internet-of-Things (IoT) Projects with the ESP32

Posted by Industry News on

The integration of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth LE allows a wide range of applications with our modules. Using Wi-Fi secures connectivity within a large radius while using Bluetooth enables the user to efficiently detect (with low-energy beacons) a module and connect it to a smartphone. With in-built antenna switches, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power management modules, the modules add priceless functionality and versatility to your applications. All ESP32 Series of modules have a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C and are suitable for commercial application development.

ESP32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE, CAN Bus Module

Our ESP32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE, CAN Bus Module comes with an onboard ESP32 WROOM-32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE Module, and a CAN Bus port with a transceiver. Onboard is an RGB LED, IO pins on a 0.1" pad.

Programming is accomplished through the popular Arduino IDE connected to the USB-to-Serial converter with a USB-C connector, automatic bootloader, and reset.

The ESP32 is a series of low-cost, low-power system-on-chip microcontrollers with integrated WiFi and dual-mode Bluetooth. The ESP32 series employs a Tensilica Xtensa LX6 microprocessor in both dual-core and single-core variations and includes built-in antenna switches and an RF balun power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power management modules.  More Information...

Internet of Things Projects with ESP32: Build exciting and powerful IoT projects using the all-new Espressif ESP32

The ESP32, a low-cost MCU with integrated Wi-Fi and BLE capabilities, comes with various modules and development boards for building IoT applications efficiently. Wi-Fi and BLE are standard network stacks for Internet-of-Things applications providing cost-effective solutions for your business and project requirements.

This book is a fundamental guide for developing ESP32 programs and explaining GPIO (General Purpose I/O) programming with sensor devices. The reader gets up to speed with ESP32 development through several IoT projects such as weather stations, sensor loggers, smart homes, Wi-Fi cams, and Wi-Fi wardriving.

The reader will learn how to use ESP32 boards to facilitate interactions between mobile applications and cloud servers, such as AWS.

By the end of this book, the reader will have learned how to control a range of IoT projects using the ESP32 chip.  More Information...

ESP32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE, CAN Bus Module With 3.5" Touch LCD

Our ESP32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE, CAN Bus Module With 3.5" Touch LCD comes with onboard ESP32 WROOM-32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE Module, and a CAN Bus transceiver.

Also built-in is an RGB LED plus a 3.5" capacitive touch screen controlled via SPI bus.

The programming is achieved through the USB-to-Serial converter with a USB-C connector, automatic bootloader, and reset.

The board can be powered by the USB port or via an external 7 to 24 VDC supported by the onboard SMPS supply. More Information...

Electronics Projects with the ESP8266 and ESP32: Building Web Pages, Applications, and WiFi Enabled Devices

Explore the powerful ESP8266 and ESP32 microcontrollers and their Wi-Fi communication. The ESP32 microcontroller features Bluetooth and BLE transmission in addition to Wi-Fi.

The book features practical projects, and readers are guided through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication, mobile app design and build, ESP-NOW and LoRa communication, and signal generation.

Projects throughout the book employ the Wi-Fi functionality and processing power of the ESP microcontrollers. Projects are built in the Arduino IDE, so you don't need to download other programming software.

Mobile apps are now everywhere, making the app build projects of the book very relevant, as are the web page design projects. More Information...
