onThe KeyCan product line by ama Instruments represents a new concept of modular keyboard that allows customization of dashboard and driver control panels in accordance with customer needs.
Each switch of the keyboard is equipped with three red-green-blue LEDs showing their individual status. The brightness of the seven colors is configurable. The icon in the middle of each pushbutton is removable and customizable by a laser printing process. Thus, the product can be installed horizontally or vertically. The OEM can customize the keypad in the line assembly. The CAN connector on the back of the module allows installations in close to the dashboard reducing the wiring length. The keyboard can also allows the implementation of a J1939 protocol stack for communication with ECUs (electronic control unit) and display panels. The temperature range of the keypads is specified from -30 °C to +85 °C. The product is IP65-rated, and it can be operated in a voltage range from 8 VDC to 32 VDC.
SAE J1939 to Bluetooth Gateway With 9-Pin Deutsch Connection Cable
The jCOM.J1939.BT gateway is a high-performance, low-latency, wireless vehicle network adapter for SAE J1939 applications. It allows any host device with a Bluetooth COM port to monitor SAE J1939 data traffic and communicate with the SAE J1939 vehicle network. An SAE J1939 cable, suited for a 9-pin Deutsch connection, is included with the gateway.
The gateway supports the full SAE J1939 protocol according to J1939/81 Network Management (Address Claiming) and J1939/21 Transport Protocol (TP). It is also supported by an extensive programming interface for Windows and Linux/Ubuntu applications, including full C/C++/C# source code for short time-to-market developments.
