CAN Bus Router Connects Classic CAN And CAN FD Networks And Operates As A CAN Bus Recorder
PEAK-System Technik has extended its product range with its programmable PCAN-Router Pro FD, which connects the data traffic of up to six CAN FD or classic CAN Bus networks. The routing from CAN Bus to CAN FD or vice versa enables the integration of new CAN FD applications into existing CAN 2.0 systems.

Furthermore, the PCAN-Router Pro FD also serves as a data logger for recording CAN Bus data and error frames.
The router comes in an aluminum housing, and it is equipped with six CAN FD channels, four digital inputs and outputs, and one analog input. For recording purposes, there are 16 gigabytes of internal memory and a slot for an additional SD card. Furthermore, a backup battery ensures a controlled switch-off, for example, in case of a power supply interruption. PEAK-System also offers various hardware options such as Ethernet or BroadR-Reach interfaces as well as alternative transceiver modules for all CAN channels.
The operation of the PCAN-Router Pro FD is freely programmable using the C/C++ programming language. Various examples from the provided SDK describe the implementation of the multiple functions and expedite the development of a customized application.
Teensy 3.6 CAN 2.0B and CAN FD Breakout Board
This is a Teensy 3.6 board with CAN 2.0B and CAN FD interface. The CAN FD is supplied by the Microchip MCP2517FD CAN FD controller with MCP2562FD CAN FD transceiver. There is also a socket for a 128x64 (I2C) OLED display (not included in delivery).
