Controller for Automotive Applications Supports Three CAN Bus Interfaces
Posted by
onThe VC36PLC-24 Controller by Vector was specially developed for communications in electrically-powered commercial vehicles. The ECU hardware offers an interface for the standardized communication, e.g. between electric networks or urban trucks and the charging infrastructure. It features a PLC interface and three CAN interfaces for communication including shielding.
The controller provides the physical interface to control the Combo-2 connector on the vehicle. In conjunction with the separately available Autosar basic software Microsar 4, the VC36PLC-24 is the solution for electric-powered commercial vehicles, and it comes with a high-performance micro-controller architecture.
The operating voltage ranges from 10 VDC to 32 VDC. The product features a sensor supply of 5 VDC with a maximum of 70 mA. The operating temperature is specified as -40 °C to +85 °C and the protection classes are IP6K6K, IP6K7, and IP6K9K. There are two local digital inputs and four analog inputs as well as four digital outputs.
SAE J1939 to Bluetooth Gateway With 9-Pin Deutsch Connection Cable
The jCOM.J1939.BT gateway is a high-performance, low-latency, wireless vehicle network adapter for SAE J1939 applications. It allows any host device with a Bluetooth COM port to monitor SAE J1939 data traffic and communicate with the SAE J1939 vehicle network. An SAE J1939 cable, suited for a 9-pin Deutsch connection, is included with the gateway.
The gateway supports the full SAE J1939 protocol according to J1939/81 Network Management (Address Claiming) and J1939/21 Transport Protocol (TP). It is also supported by an extensive programming interface for Windows and Linux/Ubuntu applications, including full C/C++/C# source code for short time-to-market developments.
