onIBASE Technology, a manufacturer of industrial motherboards and embedded systems, announced the release of their IBQ800 low-power CPU module powered by an Intel Atom x7-E3950 @2.0GHz or x5-E3930 @1.8GHz processor. Created to perform at an extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, the IBQ800 is suitable for use in industrial environments and vertical market segments including automation, gaming, ATM, transportation, power utility, and digital signage.
Built in the Qseven compact module footprint, the IBQ800 supports all the components and bus interfaces necessary for industrial, mobile, and embedded applications. It comes with 8GB or 4GB of LPDDR4 memory and up to 32GB eMMC 5.0 SSD storage on board. The IBQ800 features an Intel SoC integrated Gen9-LP graphics controller and comes with LVDS or eDP display interface.
Arduino-Due-Based SAE J1939 Programming Kit
Unleash the power of the Arduino Due with ARM Cortex-M3 processor to develop and test your SAE J1939 application, may it be an SAE J1939 to USB protocol converter, an SAE J1939 Bridge, an SAE J1939 data monitor, and many more. The SAE J1939 Programming Kit comes with many programming samples, including a full-blown SAE J1939 protocol stack (ARD1939).
The included SAE J1939 Simulator Board serves as a transmitter and receiver of SAE J1939 data frames (PGNs). Use the Windows-based jCOM1939 monitoring and simulation software to display, record, or transmit J1939 PGNs, including data request messages. To top things up, the kit includes two books on the SAE J1939 Standard and Arduino Programming for J1939 applications.
