Embedded System with Intel Pentium N4200 Or Celeron N3350 Processor And On-Board Security Module
Posted by
onAAEON, a developer of industrial PCs, announced the launch of the PICO-APL3, an application-focused motherboard with both onboard storage and an inbuilt security module.
The PICO-APL3 has been toughened up by removing memory sockets that are vulnerable to shocks and vibrations and replacing them with onboard memory and eMMC storage.
AAEON has also fitted its new device with an inbuilt Trusted Platform Module (TPM). This gives the PICO-APL3 has a hardware solution that encrypts information and protect against viruses.
Fitted with two COM ports, multiple camera and display interfaces, and expansion slots including an optional board-to-board interface, the PICO-APL3 is designed to be versatile and can support additional high-capacity storage.
