Ultracompact, single-band Wi-Fi and BLE5-hosted module for space-constrained Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications
Telit, a manufacturer of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, announced its WE310F5, a fully integrated, single-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE5) module that provides wireless connectivity to embedded microcontrollers via UART, SPI, and SDIO interfaces.
Available in versions with and without antennas, the Telit WE310F5 provides 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and BLE5 connectivity. The device emphasizes an industrial-strength design and over-the-air firmware (FOTA) upgrades and support. The setup is managed per web-apps, and native apps, with BLE-enabled Wi-Fi provisioning and HTTPS-enabled Wi-Fi provisioning (via RESTful API’s).
The module uses the WPA and TLS protocols. The WE310F5 comes with a set of software features starting with the Telit AT commands. This design is intended for device vendors with limited wireless expertise and expanding into IoT for wearables to drones, smart homes to smart buildings, and more.

ESP32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE, CAN Bus Module
This board comes with an onboard ESP32 WROOM-32 WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, BLE Module, and a CAN Bus port with a transceiver. Onboard is an RGB LED, IO pins on a 0.1" pad. Programming is accomplished with the USB-to-Serial converter with USB-C connector, automatic bootloader and reset.
The ESP32 is a series of low-cost, low-power system-on-chip microcontrollers with integrated Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth. The ESP32 series employs a Tensilica Xtensa LX6 microprocessor in both dual-core and single-core variations and includes built-in antenna switches, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power management modules.
